HAIL TO THE QUEEN OF ADRIATIC! One of the most beautiful city in the world is Venice in Italy called “The Queen of Adriatic” which is not known to everyone. What the world knows about her is that it’s a very romantic floating city. Yes, it's true but how much do we know much about her? Venice or Venezia is located in Northeastern part of Italy and the city Capital of Veneto Region. It is situated within 118 group of islands that are linked together by bridges and canals. The city is included in PATREVE which means Padua – Treviso – Venice Metropolitan Area. There are various names associaciated with Venice. The name Venice came from Veneti people during ancient time which inhabited the Island about 10th century  BCE. Apart from being known as “The Queen of Adriatic”, Venice has many names associated to her, like “La Dominante”, “Serenissima”, “ City of Water”, “ City of Bridges”, “ City of Masks”, “The Floating City”, and the “City of Canals”.
